Jan 1 - Start new year with new eggs in incubator?

I celebrated the new year at 12:00 and by 1:00 a.m. I was setting a Brand New Set of eggs in the incubator . .. .

Did Anyone else set eggs today - - Jan 1, 2011 - - the 1st day of the New Year ? ?

Well, I haven't set any today, but I do have a couple dozen here I could throw in. Let me think on it.

Wellllllllll, uhhhhhh, well I did clean out the bators a couple hours ago. I have some Icelandics, Silkies, and project eggs sitting here waiting!

I don't have any to put in, my bator is just about full right now, with lockdown next week and 2 batches of hatching eggs arriving next week.... yall have fun!! Mebe I can join the next one (methinks I just need more incubators

roocrazy - - I tried to set them then, but with all the New Year's Eve celebration
- - - - I didn't get to candle them earlier in the day. So, I had to candle them first.
- - - At least it won't be hard to remember when Lock Down is

Kathy - - - I want to know what happens with those project eggs.
How many different breeds do you have at your place ? ?
Which is your favorite one or two breeds ?
How do you keep up with all the chickens?
I have to do some serious coop / pen building during the next month and just can't decide what to do.
I am contemplating what size to make pens /coops. I contemplating how many hens I want to put in with
my roos. Just the whole "breeding / hatching/ raising" process I am evaluating and contemplating
before I put the first post in the ground . . .
