janet seems to be pretty serious about her job!! How nice for your goose to have some little things to look after. don´t forget pics when they hatch!
Other than she's going to wonder how come they stayed so short she'll love them like her own, I had the opposite Muscovy duck hatched an Embden goose, it was so cute watching mother and child walk around together him being so much larger than her.I havent seen to many threads on geese hatching other species of poultry, so i thought i would start one. I'll keep you posted on her progress. She is doing real good so far!
She´ll be thinking that she has to read up on niacin because they have leg abnormalities!!!Other than she's going to wonder how come they stayed so short she'll love them like her own, I had the opposite Muscovy duck hatched an Embden goose, it was so cute watching mother and child walk around together him being so much larger than her.

That´s strange, geese are usually very careful with eggs. Do you think they had a fight in there? Maybe you need to fence her off from the others. One of our other goose hens laid in Janet's nest, and broke two of her eggs. We are down to two but they are developing!
