Janoel 24. INCUBATOR EXPERTS PLEASE

Pics
So you get a very accurate thermometer and put it in the incubator to see if it's reading the same temp as your incubator. If it's not reading the same temp.then your incubator is out of wack.so you just adjust your temp up or down as long as the thermometer is reading 37.6 inside the bator then that's okay.

Yes, Putting more than one very accurate thermometer would be recommended since sometimes they read wrong that way you have more to read off of incase one is bad.

Just wondering if you ever figured your Janoel 24 out. I just got mine today and am checking the temperature. I see the little hole. The instructions say something about more humidity at the end of the hatch time so I would guess you close it. but its just a guess. How well does yours keep temperature? I have to get another thermometer to put in it to check. Have you hatched anything yet?
The little hole is for oxygen. It needs to be at least halfway open.

yes -close vent at day 19 , u want humidity high.
humidity is hard to control for sure.
its all about the amount of water in these.
start with 300ml in well 1 only , set temp , vent open or half closed (dependant on ambient humidity). Cover the unit helps.
More heat - less humidity.
add 100ml per day , untill day 19 (lock down).
From there add 100ml to well 1 , and start well 2 with 250ml of water.
Each day until day 21 add 100-150ml to each well 1 and 2.
Less heat - more humidity.
You may require more or less water depending on humidity settings your reading.

Dont drown them with too much water. Be careful.

we added 2 small 90 degree elbows (garden water fittings) with clear tubing vertically facing up.
we can now add the water filler nozzle inside clear tube and squirt in.
We found trying to get water in horizontally was a challenge , and hard to evacuate all water from filler into ports 1 and 2. And messy.

We can also now see the humidity working , as our clear tubes mist up.
No mess.
