Thank you!Wow, stunning birds! That's interesting their eggs are the ones that survived. Good genetics. What day are your three musketeers on?
Same here. There's always one or two that really seem to benefit from the extra initial support. Do you worry about the Nutridrench expiring? Just now I realized mine is probably 2+ years old.![]()
Don't beat yourself over that one. I've been there too. It's terrible.14 of 18 made it past day 9 on the "homemade test incubator batch" and are developing well in spite of several having saddle and loose air cells from the horrific shipping they went thru. Two were infertile, one had a blood ring.... and a 4th I thot was infertile had a well hidden 5 day old embryo chick in it (I am a murderer....first time that happened...I guess I got ..I dunno what I got..I am very upset with myself on that one. Painful reminder to not remove any I think are infertile till day 10-12 now). The Homemade Ice Chest 'bator seems to be keeping heat very well and stable. These are a Plymoth Rock/New Hampshire mixed with some purebloods of the same breeds too.

On a happier note, today the Lavender Ameraucana eggs are on lockdown in my Rcom incubator all 10 look very well and developing nicely! So I am excited to hopefully see some chicks this weekend from that batch. Will post pics when they arrive.
