Well I had 2 olive eggers hatch from Newlyweds and I'm bad about taking pictures but Donnie's Barred Rocks are pretty cute from the New Years Hatch and I'm waiting on my eggs still for this month......
IdealisticRoo- my eggs from you I had one hatch, cute little EE. I think the post office was very rough on the package most never started and either scrambled yolks or detached air cells.
Shellyga- I am currently hatching, so far 2 cute BO's and 2 more pipped.

Congratulations! You have accomplished something I never could! I have never had any babies out of my chickens. About 80% make it to lockdown, only 1 hatched, but it was missing a wing and died the next day!
I know of 1 other BYC-er who hatched 2 out my eggs.
Can I PLEASE see a picture of your little hatchling?

Ok! We can fix this!! What are you feeding your breeders?
Your birds are fertile! Your chicks just aren't strong enough to hatch! Probably need more protein in parent birds.
I agree, do you have hatching problems with other's birds as well? What kind of incubator are you using?
I just took some pictures of the little EE chick, hatched 2 weeks ago.
and Some of shelly's BO's just hatched today, heres a picture of me moving them from the incubator to the brooder. The clean faced buff ones are shelly's, and some EE's (from Katythechickenlady) and 2nd gen OE's from my flock.

I have since upped the protein my birds are getting, but I sold my roosters and my incubators, so future hatches aren't an issue.
My incubator was homemade, but then I got a used hovabator. I got a few chicks to hatch right before I sold the incubators, but incubating was too stressful and it really hurts me inside when chicks don't make it, so I sold the incubator with some eggs still in it and even gave the buyer an inverter I had so she could keep them warm on the drive home.
