I know a woman in NY who is selling Call eggs on ebay. She have over 100 Call ducks. They're not separated though. And although they're not separated, for some reason, the colors seem to stick together. When I was there Christmas week, it was absolutely amazing to see. They all have their own nestboxes. The whites are with the whites, blue fawns are with blue fawns, black bibbed with black bibbed.

And when she opens the barn door, they all fly out onto the pond!!!! What an amazing sight to see!!! Late in the afternoon she whistles for them and they fly back to the barn.

I have 7 beautiful ducklings from her and eggs in the incubator from her that I carried from NY. The other dozen that she mailed to me were frozen by the time they got here.

I didn't see it in this swap but in a previous one I read I thought it said mixes will only be exchanged with other mixes. Is that correct? I'm not a purebred snob or anything, because I have some mixes, I just wanted to make sure I understood how it worked before I made my e-mail selections.

I'm glad the question about EEs came up so it was clear to everyone. I would've thought they were mixes even coming from all blue or all green eggs. I have a few EE hens that lay blue eggs and a pure Ameraucana roo over them (I'm not sending those eggs though so it's not a hint) and I wouldn've put them in the mix category.

Mixes are almost always swapped with mixes. There has been a time or two that I swapped mixes to someone that sent pures, but it was okayed beforehand. I don't send my own birds' eggs when I do play, because I don't want any more mix-bred birds, so I completely understand why you're asking! If I want more mix-breeds, I'll hatch my own
