January egg swap~~Sign-ups closed~~check emails for shipping info!!

As you know, there is no guarantee that they will send them then. What I can do is tell your swap partner that they need to ship before 'x' date or after 'x' date, would that work?

Before or after would work just fine...it was what I was trying to say the eggs just can't get here while I am gone.. I didn't make it clear sorry. I know that it depends on my partner. I will email you.

i think i'm sitting this one out too... well my hens are.... i'd love to play... but they apparently have other plans...

Ok I'm thinking about it..mine are laying like crazy for the past week but I have to ask are EE's considered mutt here or ? I'm not saying I would be sending EE's because honestly I have no say in what gets laid when they would need to be sent...just wondering what to put down that I may have on the 10-25th

i know shelley's answer for this because i asked for nov....

EE's are considered purebred with an unspoken rule that they bee all green or blue eggs to be considered pure...

so i had to call my EE's mixed becasue some were green and some were brown....

if you can collect enough green and blues within a few days to make the 6 required for the swap, then yeah consider them pure....
i only had 1 girl laying greens.. she was steady every day, but i didn't want to ship eggs that were 6 days old already ....

What if your hen lays green/blue, but your roo is something else! (Like if the roo hatched from a pink egg.)
I don't want to get "pure" EE if that's the case.
Sorry, but I'd say they're mixed if your birds don't all lay green/blue.

Ok. Here is what I have. Two Jersey Giant hens with a White Americana Rooster. Now the hens lay brown eggs, but with the rooster being Americana, they are EE. But since they eggs are brown they ar enot pure?
