Five days till lockdown for me!!!!

I have five days to lockdown also - this is my first hatching attempt. I've candled one-two eggs for the last couple of days (15 eggs in the bator). I can hardly wait for lockdown to get a number for the viable chicks.​

12 Button eggs will be going into Lockdown Saturday Afternoon - I think. Hatch dates the 11th and the 12th. ( 8 eggs were set the 27 and the other 4 were set the 28th. )

Just went into lockdown tonight!!! 2 1/2 days and I will all sorts of genetic crosses. I have 2 roosters, a silkie and RIR. I have these hens: RIR, White Leghorns, a silkie, turkens, and white rocks. Should be an interesting hatch. I also have a polish roo wandering around in there but I hav never seen him do anything. It will be a large suprise to find something like a silkie polish! I just can't wait! Must stop looking at incubator..... Must stop looking at incubator.......

I just went into lockdown today as well.. 35 eggs.. Barred Rocks, Australorps, Buff Orpington, and Blue Laced Red Wyandottes!! Im so excited to get some new fuzzy butts!!
