They sure are. This is my 1st ever hatch so I am going to grow these babies out to see what i have and keep the females and sell the drakes. So fingers crossed for at least a few of each

Just wanted to share a method of brooding ducklings that worked really well for me. I put my newly shipped ducklings into the bathtub until about 2-3 wks old. I put an old towel at the high end and a small puddle of water at the low. I picked up the towel and food and rinsed the tub 3 times a day. Then put a clean towel back, depending on the need. They got so friendly because we were around them so much every day! They are great pets now! Personally I think whatever you do to them in the first 2-3 weeks of life forms their personalities/friendliness toward humans.

Good luck!

I got 6 babies from Metzers back in August, I kept them in a big tote down in the spare bedroom and would put them in a smaller tote to take them to the bath for their daily swim. I loved raising the babies, but good lord they are smessy and smelly but I loved it.

Mine were from Metzer too! I love that they sex them! They threw in 1 extra and of course it is a drake! ha ha
Mine are about 10 wks old now and I am just about ready to join them with my adult flock, but I need to get rid of some extra drakes in there first or it will be too crowded.
How many ducks do you have?
