Hi to all, i have a mottled jap hen can i breed a blk tailed white roo to her? what will i get?

I think you will get chicks that look like Black Tail Whites, but they will have lots of black flecks and feather on their white bodies. They will look like poor quality mottled birds - but they might look pretty.

i own and breed several japanese bantams blk white mtlled buff every so often 2 or 3 escape thier pens and breed some come ot solid others weird .these i sell cheap ti kids who are just starting to learn about bantams.

You reminded me of a surprise I got when I got a pure black rooster with very dark flame red feathers on his neck. I have no idea how he was that colour as I don't have any black birds - all mine a white or Wheaten, buff.

I ordered a japanese asst. And I got one mottled hen, one blk tailed white roo and the rest were whites and blk tailed buffs so I guess I will just find the other two there own mates
