Japanese Beetle Auto Feeder

Those darn little things are all over my plants, eating everything.
So...
I bought a beetle trap with the scent and the bag set up. I hung it about 18" or so off the ground. Pretty soon, the beetles are just swarming it. It didn't take long for the chickens to figure this out. Now they hang aroung the trap and as the beetles fly up, they pick them off as they get close enough!

love it, where did you get it. They are desimating some of my flowers and I owuld love to get the "auto" feeder for the birds!

Home Depot- really any garden center should have it. It's just two pieces of plastic clipped together to form an X. A scent tablet is placed in one of the X's wings. The collection bag hangs from the tips of the X. Beetles fly into the X and drop into the bag. I even emptied the bag out and let them eat all of the trapped ones too. Musta been a 1000 of them.
