Japanese black bantam facts please.

You could help the roo's personality by spending time with it, if you need him to be super friendly. That's what I been doing with my own roos.

Personally, my two girls who are 3 or 4 are bat**** crazy. They would personally love if we just tossed them in the woods to be free from all of humanity. My male's have been a bit tamer.

My one hen has been a great mother, standing up to any hen that tries things, even though they're all 2 or 3 times her size and they're higher than her on the pecking pole

DO NOT let heavy male's breed with them. We had to cull one of our hens because we had a large male that got to her and he broke her tail and just banged her up. She never recovered right

It's when the tail is more upright than a right angle.
His tail is kept at a more upright angle. That being said, I 'm stillgonna not 100% sure of his breed yet,, only what I think he is.

We only have my rooyoungest that I just showed so we're good in that aspect.

Thats an old pic, before he started really getting his tail feathers. He still hasn't completely gotten them either. He was very sickly when we got him, and almost died. We know he has problems, could that be why it's not up so high? If not, then what do you think he is?? He's half the height of our ailky of the same age.
His tail should be far, far more up than that if he's a japanese

I don't have one, but there is one at my friends farm. They are super nice. But some can be a bit shy. Also they do get a little aggressive when you hold them or their hens!!!
