Need to know the reason why my 4 year old Japanese female quail suddenly died?

That’s an incredibly old age for a Coturnix hen. It was probably age related. Four years is a very long time, it sounds like she had an extremely long life.

Agreed 4 years old is quite old. If you really want to know, you can send her in for a necropsy.
