Java for sale on Craigslist

Does this look like a pure Java? He's only a yearling, but I thought one of you that has them would know.

Thanks, I didn't think so either, but thought I would ask the experts here. I have a hen and I'd like to find a mate for her. This one is only an hours drive away.

Was curious how you know its not pure on a yearling bird? Whats the basis of the call?

It looks more blue than green, it a low Percentage spalding.

To hard for me to make that 100% call. Photos are not that great anyway.Just not seeing that blue much. It looks to me it could be pure. Id have to have more to go on.

Trust me it is a low percentage spalding. Look at the yellow patches on its face, to light and small. Look at the barring on its back, just like and IB. It is a low percentage spalding male.

Relooked at it real hard this time and absolutely agree with you super peacockman. Mainly the crest not being straight up and the barring.And yea he should have more more yellow on the face even if it was born late last year. My bad.
