Jersey chickens

Hi all. I come from a family of farmers and have had a small flock (6) chickens in my backyard for about 7 years mow. My son (17) now wants to venture in to ducks. He is thinking of a few khaki campbell ducks. Is this a good idea and are there any local people I can buy some from or split an order with.
