Jersey Giant & BLR Wyandotte - hen, right?

Hiya folks.

Very new to this. Our coop contains a rooster - I heard him this week for the first time, and although I didn't actually see which one it was, the Jersey Giant (might also be a Minorca, but no white lobes!) has quite a comb for a ten week old chick.

The Wyandotte below (same age) goes head to head and battles the suspected roo, above, often... Is this she really a he? Do hens battle roosters in a head to head staredown usually?

I'd say the BLRW is a roo. My BLRW pullets don't have that much red at 10 weeks.

Wow, I was just suspecting... But it is hard for me to think of the dotte as a roo with all those petticoat feathers!

I raise blrw and I would confirm him as a roo.
