The dead give away was you were getting an egg and the other one, does not look anywhere near laying

. Also, in the pictures it was kind of hard to tell, but she did not have pointy saddle feathers or hackles, hers were rounded. Finally, at that age a rooster would have a much larger Comb and wattles. Hope that helps!

The dance is a submissive behavior, or submissive squatting. My daughter lives it because then she can catch her chicken.

Anyone know about mine? I thought s/he was a girl, but the spur ‘dots’ seem to be more raised. S/he’s 7 weeks.
