jersey giant roost.

We are getting some jersey giants and are in the process of building the coop. We have used 2x2's in the past for our roost. Will these birds need something more like a 4x4 since they are heavier birds? Any thoughts will help.

My Jersey Giant roosts just fine on a 2x2 roost along with 1 White Leghorn, and 2 Black Orpingtons.

How high off the floor is your roost? Im getting giants this spring and am worried about their feet.
