Jersey giant thread(post pics, questions ect)

I think the jersey giant is gaining popularity the last couple of years. Maybe not so much as the marans but I have noticed more and more people asking questions about breeding, dispositon ect than I have before. So I thought I create a thread for you that are interested want to post pics for others to see. I know there are a few egg sellers on here as well that sell jersey giants.
I myself only have the black jerseys at present. I used to have blues and splashes til a predator hit my pen last jan. So I'm back to aquiring flock and looking at different breeders for some nice blues.

Yay! A Jersey thread! I am just getting into Jerseys myself. I recently got two 9 month old hens, who are not laying yet,

, and one 2 week old pullet. I also have 10 day old chicks on the way, and one roo on the way as well. I see this as a long term kinda thing since they take so long to grow and begin laying. But they are so pretty and I cant wait to get some in blue and slpash someday. Will post pics of my girls as soon as I can- and PLEASE everybody- if you like Jerseys too, KEEP THIS THREAD GOING!!!

I really wish my girls would lay- I cant wait to see the eggs! Anyone have pics of their Jersy eggs beside a regular egg? I hear Jersey eggs are pretty big.....
