I’m wondering do Jersey Giants go broody?

They can sometimes but are not the greatest when sitting on eggs because of their weight.

If you are planning on using a chicken as an incubator, not necessarily laying eggs, then go for the silkie. They are great moms and go broody really often. Hope it helps.

I have Jersey Giants but mine have never gone broody. I think the broodiness is an individual thing, not as much breed, but I don't know. My easter egger Bridget, and my Buff Orpington Maggie are broody frequently! Is your hen broody???
