Thanks for having me, BYC!
I am a teenage backyard chicken keeper, and I love cochins and jersey giants!
i love the result of cross breeding them. I thought i had a pair of jerseys to breed, but...

THAT DUDE LOOKED LIKE A LADY.

I still have some younger females, though, so all good.
I like to draw and tinker in my spare time, am an amateur mechanic, and a Transformers fanatic, and like Bumblebee in particular.
Any advice on motherless chicks would be much appreciated!

Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
You'll have to brood the motherless chicks yourself. Brooding in a built-in brooder in the coop with a brooder plate enables you to integrate the chicks into the flock sooner.

My flock consists of three pure Jerseys, Plurp, Blue, and M.J., (Ms. Fatty Jr.), and two Jersey cochin crosses, Charkie, (AKA Little Darkie) and Yngwie.
