Thanks all...it is a bitter sweet kinda thing. The one big benefit, we get to enjoy many dogs in our one lifetimes. Need to celebrate that part and look forward to it happening again.

Wow! I mean WOW! You are busy busy busy! Had to reply to your "Pear-A-Dice" since I call our place "Parrot-dise", Yeah, you can guess I'm a parrot person but have been deeply involved with many kinds of fowl. Not near as busy as you are though..lol Love your posting.

Chickisoup, the footprints and pawprints on the sand just a beautiful sentiment. I knew Fixins would want to do it her way, with her loved one Tara (or Rick) nearby. I'm sure, in her own way, she will still be keeping an eye on her people, and doing her rounds to check the premises.
