Thank you! :hugs

Groups of cows are in herds...horses and goats too ... sheep must be in a flock (like chickens). The overseeing Power that is, She watches over the flock...we humans are part of this flock. :old

Perhaps, possibly?? You have seen the tower of Eder near Hebron?

You make me laugh...STUFFED ANIMAL? :lau You need to EAT MORE OFTEN BENNY! Always the food...always the "pinch" the sheep to see if it is fat enough to be harvested and cooked for a feast! You are a brat! EAT, EAT, EATING! :hmm

Yes, indeed...these sheeps of mine are STUFFED but in another way than with breaded stuffing, gravy slathered on after roasting... these sheep are too full of food--stuffed in that manner. And always crying I am not feeding them enough. Bad Sheeps! BAAAAAAAAD!

And I have posted about what I am doing...and yet, Rick has been busy as ever too. Besides work...he has taken advantage of the rains of June and has gravelled the area where he will build a building to house two of his trucks. Summer plans are unfolding as they should.

1 Jun 12 2017 IMGP9542.jpg

June 12

After running dogs each evening, we wander over to the New Orchard and admire the progression of the water plant pond.

2 Jun 13 2017 IMGP0022.jpg

June 13

Now to add a band of grey lime rock over the gravel...level the blocks more.

3 Jun 02 2017 IMGP5991.jpg

June 2
It has been a fun project. We can stop, start, not do anything either with it. :D

4 Jun 13 2017 IMGP0038.jpg

For whatever reasons last year...the Dolgo blossomed bigger and the lilacs bombed...this year, Dolgo did not put on as huge a display but the Lilacs we planted June 1999 down both sides of the front driveway...what a show! As Rick says, smells alot like a bus load of old ladies! :lau

5 Jun 02 2017 IMGP5737.jpg

June 2

Another incredible display this year, flower wise...the Caragana...hard to imagine these were mere sticks I planted in 1999 and now, great huge bushes alive with bees...wonderful to have that kind of helping habitat for the pollinators...
:love

And life would not be complete without BIRDS to go with the BEES...

6 jun 12 2017IMGP9544.jpg

June 12

Robins have hatched and grown up...and yes, with the cold humid wet June...still have to be SAT on occasionally! :lau

7 Jun 13 2017 IMGP9670.jpg

Jun 13

Rick has been keeping at putting the run on Magpies that would adore eating these yet to be fledged Robin childs. Stay away you scoundrels...

Jun 4 2017 IMGP6175.jpg

Jun 4
Can you see it??

June 04 2017 IMGP6175.jpg

Same photo as above but I enlarged the area of note!

Flicker at the waterfall...another place we have provided habitat for the wanted wilds here. Cautious birds even take advantage of the digs here.

Hello Moon, send greetings and goodness to all my friends here... :frow

June 2, 2017

I love looking at the moon. To me it is a messenger that all of us here on planet Earth may marvel at. The moon makes a journey every 24 hours round us...I can be at my place looking up at it and you, well you can be at your place looking at it too...something we all can share.
:love

Something no matter how far the distance we are from each other...I know you can look at the same moon I look at. How wonderful close and endearing that makes it. The moon is like love! It too makes the world smaller...closer, kinder. :hugs

If the sky is clear tonight and the moon shows itself...tell it to pass on a message to me...that while the Internet and e-mails have made the world faster and seem smaller & closer, contact easier to make between all of us...the chance glance at the moon, that has been a connection we humans have shared for alot longer that technology like that.

Hello y'all! From my place to yours! :thumbsup

I was pondering the exact same subject just last week. Funny to think about, that all of our "Internet friends" have looked at the same moon as us...

Tara in Hebrew there are some letter that are
guttural letters one of them is the letter ע ain (pronounced from the throat ) so the word עדר is an herd.
The letter א alef has the same sound but it is more "shallower" so the word אדר is pronounced the same but, not from the throat. And stuff animals not by the gastronomic explanation but by the taxidermic one!
And Tara you can't blame me about the food! Your are no less foodie then me!

Cripers... I am terrible with pronounciations...I just want to make sure I am not making an utter mess of Ancient Hebrew...Latin, well the DEAD language will probably have to send ghosts to haunt me...

The girls are really fascinated with the baby lambs. Good to see Foamy in the picture. I love the baby lambs - always loved the black faced ones the most.

Of course Snickers,(momma) is near & dear to my heart. I just had a Snickers bar with almonds today. I found it at the bottom of my backpack (I call it my 'trunk,' ) Can you see how daft I am getting. I bought it a week ago, couldn't find it and figured I ate it in one gulp(what usually happens.)

Love the very serious look on the girls' faces when they are checking out the babies- like "where did they come from?"

BTW the Snickers ice cream bars are out of this world. I kid you not.

PS Tell Rick the only smells on the seniors bus, are garlic -one gal insists on eating it for breakfast - believe me it clears everyone's sinus problems in a flash.
Or the one lady that goes to the gym - and bathes(it seems) in whatever fragrance is the strongest - feh!

BEUTIFUL LAMBS!

Heel low:

Thanks for all the nice comments about the lambos...they are ever so sweetnesses, eh!! :hugs

Monday...already...butt is dragging, where did the weekend go--where?

Jun 19 2017 IMGP2179.jpg

Cleared out the man porch on Thursday in prep of Father's Day...got the plants all in order (one hanging pot yet to get...Rick wants a yeller one) so we could spend time sipping coffees, eating and just enjoying the room with the view. :)

Jun 19 2017

Baby Robins, bet they fly the coop (nest?) pretty soon!!

Rick's been busy mowing and then dismantled the coffee maker, calcium in our water, he cleaned it and back to having HOT coffees... :hugs

He also changed out the hot water tank a few weeks back...lasted loong time...2004, so can't complain.

Jun 18 2017 IMGP2103.jpg

Who is more interested in whom? :p

Jun 18 2017 IMGP2106.jpg

Letting the lambs and moms out twice a day (when they start dropping like flies, "Too tired--must sleep here--PLOP!!", back to the Ewe barn for serious naps and rest)...

There is now a gang of three roaming the bird yard...up to no good! :wee

Exploring...

Jun 18 2017 IMGP2131.jpg

Until one of the Moms decides "That is enough!"

Jun 18 2017 IMGP2132.jpg

Weighed the lambs yesterday...the twins; boy weighs thirteen pounds, girl weighs eleven and...and the single ewe Èden weighs FOURTEEN POUNDS (yes, more than either of the first born twins)! She was born on the afternoon of the 13th @ nine pounds...she's porked on FIVE pounds...butterball babe @ a pound per day, eh! :p

Snickers mighta just had a single again, but WOW...she sure is making up for that! Big bouncy baby indeed! :D

Ah yes, and took the girl dogs to Best Vet so we could get deworm meds for the doggettes...both of the pooches weigh 47 pounds...identical weights. Course we stopped for the usual chicken and ice cream along route! DD would approve...ice cream, THE most important of the food groups, eh.

Gotta fly...Monday...butt dragging STILL and likely won't get better as the week progresses...!

PS And oh yes DD @drumstick diva ...Rick had a fellow he worked with decades ago now... that also ate garlic cloves on a regular basis...supposedly to be healthy and avoid flus or colds... Smelling like THAT, what human would want to even come close to him...he'd likely never get infected...like skunk! I like garlic too but not like that! :lau
