Caught him/her this morning doing the turkey Tango. Everytime the other chickens would run or walk by he would strut .I am still not convinced he is a male tho. But he is holding it longer and longer so maybe he is a male.

He had to wait to go outside since it was pouring rain yet. He wasnt happy about it either
Still neat to look at .. Especially since he is so scraggly looking but trying to strut his little heart out.

Wow, if he's strutting, he's obviously never seen himself in a mirror. What a bedraggled little teen turkey!

Hehe thanks

He does look sorry ,doesnt he ? I just dont have the heart to tell him he is not very purty.I am just glad he made it this far and his thriving. I never had a turkey and him beeing the odd man out , I thought he was going to croak on me a few times.

Buff.. he had a mirror in his tub at one point. He pecked and pecked and pecked , then fell asleep so close to it that I thought he had plum broke his neck and was dead.He was just so worn out with trying to figure out what that thing was in the mirror and fell asleep close to it.It was rather disturbing to see him all conked over.Dumb bird is very light on the brain cell scale.

Gosh..I hope he is a tom.

Oh that is an adorable little tom...I would wager money on that being a young man. I think they adorable at the beraggled looking stage.

He's too cute! The first time mine did this I just cracked up! They werea few weeks old.

Now my boys do it all the time when I am around. Except when they are fighting with each other. Then Popcorn runs behind me so Ruffles can't get him! At least that's what's he thinking! I sure don't want to be in the middle but what's a mom to do but protect her 25 lb scared turkey! They're are so fun!
