Hello all I purchased 100 eggs from JMF and had a 60 % hatch rate which is amazing in its self with shipped eggs!! I purchased the dual purpose jumbo browns and the Meat A&M's The Jumbo browns are doing great the A&M's are acting CRAZY!! Has anyone else had this problem?

Yeah my A&Ms are crazy too... i have had a rough run with their temperment. I had several i had to cull because theybwouldnt get along with other birds... i got them all settled in in 3 groups now with a roo each and they are doing fine again.... the brown cots i got from him i have had no problems at all... not even a drop of blood...

Same here I just don't understand it.I also got the same amount of eggs from Vail's Quails with a little better hatch rate and their A&M's seem to be just as mellow as the jumbo browns and just as big at the same age. Is it just a genetic thing?
