I'm very very very sorry. Loosing our animals is unexplainably hard. But it is for the best. I know it doesn't feel like it and I know its super difficult, but you made the right choice. Joey has clearly had a very good life. Sending hugs. I'm so sorry. Give Joey lots of love and take a million pictures and make these last memories the best! Maybe if he can have a special treat, give him some and make him as comfy as possible! I'll be praying and thinking of you.

I understand that. I've had to loose animals I've grown up with too. Its REALLY hard. But over time it will get easier, but it will take time. For now, love him and have the BEST time. You can get through this, it will just be really really unexplainably hard.
