My DS created this portrait for me as part of a school art project. The face was done by a stipling technique (In other words, a lot of dots and only dots) and all the words that form the hat and body were dialogue from the original movie True Grit. I thought it was awsome and wanted to share it here.
What do you think?

Wow! Very cool! He's got some talent, very neat concept, using the words as he did! Very well done!

The word technique was actually what they were working on in class and the stipling was something he learned a few months ago. So he decided to do the stipling for the portrait...well you get the idea.

That is nice! I admire people who have artistic abilities... I have none, absolutely zero.

I bet that took him a long time to do.

He's 16 years old. He has always been very artistic and he can draw anything. I'm so proud of him.

He said that was the photo that he saw to do the picture. I saw him working on it and he did the entire photo from memory.
