Yes I agree!
It's fun to hatch something new, but it also feels good to know you're supporting the breed. I'm hoping to get some more Shetland eggs in the future and start a small breeding flock of my own.

The duck was raised by a ma chicken for 3 weeks, then she got bored, and other adult chickens beat it up. I let him heal, and now he is with chickens his age, they are nice to him.
