Hello from Central Illinois! My wife and I began chicken raising a little over a year ago after much discussion and buying a house in the country with a little bit of land. What began with about 6 chickens has grown into about 40 chickens, 3 ducks and three turkeys al free-range. We also have 3 goats, two pot-belly pigs, 4 meat rabbits, 6 dogs and 2 cats. We are also a foster home for All Herding Breed Dog Rescue of Illinois, primarily fostering pregnant herding dogs from high kill shelters. We look forward to learning and sharing with everyone here in the coming days!
