Hello, Stacy, and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.

Hi, Everyone! My name is Stacy Jordan, aka Jordan Mama. I am so excited to join this community so I will have some friends who understand why we love our chickens and want them. We recently bought a mix of chicks in the Red Producers, Isa browns, Golden Comet, Bluff Orpington, and Americana varieties, then bought some Bantams that I thinks will have to have a separate coop bc they’re so small.
We decided on so many chicks (14 total) because we are hoping for a bunch of eggs. We have a large family with 7 kids, 5 of which are still living at home. I also raise & breed Great Danes, who would eat scrambled eggs every day if I let them.
We thankfully live in a rural community in Indiana, right near KY and OH. We’re currently on half an acre, but have hopes of buying an additional 1-6 acres behind us in the future.
I can’t wait to get to know you all.
