Welcome to BYC I think Pyxis and Birdrain gave you a lot of helpful information. I think with any new color variety, there is a frenzy to buy them at first. The novelty wears off rather sudden and you are stuck with a lot of inventory (chicks/birds) that won't sell. Many people end up eating what they thought would be profitable.

Thank you, I think I am just going to go with some kind of bantam heard they are a good ones for smaller children to show in 4-H.
