Jubilee Orpington Fan Group!

I love the second chick's feet! Also one of my roosters mid-flap. 😂

And can anyone tell me why 2 of mine look dark like pics I see and the other 2 are super light red?
The light-colored birds lack the mahogany gene, so their red ground color is lighter.

Just to clarify for me, you say you have Buff and Lavender Orpingtons. The adult male you posted is a cross from them?

My jubilee rooster, 2 purebred hens and the smaller light color girls are mille fleur d'uccle /jubilee crosses.. they are about 8 months and laying well

I don't hate those Jubilee. They look quite nice.
Thank you. I really like the rooster.. he is absolutely stunning in person.. the girls are nice and as they mature they get better. The breeder who had them was over crowded..and the chicks ( 6-10weeks old) were scrawnypoor looking, lost 2 within 2 days, gave another away that had mixed characteristics, crowed, aggressive but was a pullet, laying correct color ,mounted hens.. i gave her away to a guy been raising chickens for many years all bym..and everything eventually culled to eat.

I know there is a size difference between male and female and they really probably arent full grown yet..but it seems my girls are much smaller..dont get me wrong, they arent little..

I got English Jubilee Orpington eggs from Carolina Rare Chicks 5 hatched out on March 5th. Here they are 5 weeks old today, cant wait to see what they end up looking like.

This is my jubilee orp Millhouse (Millie) she ended up being the only one we kept of her group of chicks (all the others were male) so she’s a bit of the loner of the flock - she retreats to my arms sometimes 🥹 she’s about 4 months now. these were taken a few weeks ago. hoping she continues to find her confidence in the flock - I think she’s finally stopped sleeping in a nest box 😂
