Jubilee orpington

I have heard thru the grape vine that there is a breeder here in the USA that has just about completed thier Jubilee Orpington Project and is close to unveiling them.

Ooh, I love grapes! Wanna share?

I do not have names or location otherwise you know I would be telling everyone. I just hope the breeder, who ever he or she is, will be willing the share the fruits of thier labor with other enthusiasts instead of keeping it to themselves.

I hope they do too. There is a lady out here that has 6 generation Cuckoo Orpingtons. I have begged her to sell me some, but she wont until her project is finished. They are some really nice birds.

That's a gorgeous bird!

Question:

When a project like the Jubilee Orpington is started, and a Speckled Sussex is used in its creation, how many generations does it require, to call it an Orpington?

Another honest question, please don't whack me...is this breed considered preferable to the Speckled Sussex in any way?
