Chirping
Hello,
I have a 2 year old chicken that started not acting like herself about a week ago. She is normally pretty vocal and normally hanging with the other hens although she is low on the pecking order. She has been very quiet, staying to herself, not scratching or pecking and she is losing lots of feathers and not laying. One thing to note is that she seems a bit wobbly on her feet, stumbles sometimes and one wing seems a little droopy. We have no roosters and are in Northern Nevada. She will drink on and off (we have one container with water/organic apple cider vinegar, one container with Hen Boost probiotics and another with Rooster booster. She is rather picky about what she eats this week, sometimes not interested and other times ravenous but not particularly interested in their normal crumble. In the past 7 days I can get her to eat small amounts of watermelon, corns, peas, greek yogurt and tonight she had some scrambled egg. She is just BLAH and I can't figure it out. We have given her a couple of epsom salt soaks and she has spent some time inside in a dog crate and back outside alternately however she seems happier to be outdoors. Any suggestions?
