What is considered basic obedience!?

I was joking I usually mutter an apology with “he doesn’t like strangers” and walk away as fast as I can

Oh okay I wasn’t sure LOL sorry! Usually I say sorry loudly but he was being SO bad this time I was barely controlling him

I’m sorry but a story of Chase humiliating me to make you feel better:

I was walking to the library (this was probably about 4 years ago) with Chase. I always have him carry anything he can, so he had my books in a bag in his mouth. Some people coming out of a building as I was walking by immediately stopped and all started saying how cute it was. Chase can’t take a compliment apparently and completely flipped out. He ducked behind my legs and ran full speed ahead. This got the leash wrapped around my legs and my arm trapped behind my back. I never fell but was drug about ten feet (and off the 1 foot tall curb) until I was able to get Chase to stop dragging me. Of course the people watched the whole thing. I didn’t even look back, I just walked into the library which was where we were by the end of this “trip”
