Lucky you! I had a nightmare last night that I went to turn the eggs and once I opened the 'bator some of the eggs cracked and were hollow inside. I hope this doesn't keep happening every night. Day 2 (or is it 3?) today...

I dont know how I'm supposed to walk away from the incubator...I've been staring in the window since early early this morning!

Oh no! I don't start dreaming til lockdown then I have weird dreams like that too! Hopefully it will stop and you can get some rest! ive got an egg that's been pipped since yesterday morning with no further progress... I know it can take a long time but I'm pretty sure it was the first one to pip and I don't see it moving like the others were. The other six aren't pipped yet! but were all alive on lockdown candle... I bet ill have nightmares tonight!

We had a couple of thunder storms last week and I was sure that killed all of our eggs in the incubator. but we have several in there just rocking away since yesterday and I have been there watching them just rock and roll. This morning I looked at the house and realized I had better get to cleaning before the house swallowed us all whole. Having six kids if we take a break from cleaning it looks like we never ever clean. I still go and check on them a lot though and the wait is killing me. Lock down is the worst time for me that is when I just can't wait because it is so close and yet it seems like it takes forever.

I had 6 go into lock down 2 never pipped internally and 2 pipped, were moving and chirping but still died over night! the 2 that hatched are beautiful but I still feel a little bewildered! they were shipped eggs...the 2 that died were strange inside when I opened them!

Well I am hoping to do an August hatch. Found someone local I can get some Silkie eggs from. So if anyone wants to join me!!!! LOL

We will probably join though I am not sure what we are going to hatch yet and I am not sure that my husband knows we are going to hatch next month yet but we have to get these egg to hatch first.

Locking down tonight. Down to only 5 maybe 6 (too dark to tell) leg bars. Good fertility but lost 6 early (blood rings by 10 days). Not sure what happened. Shipped eggs.... Already lined up my next batch too. Olive eggers and welsummers!

I have some peafowl going to hatch this weekend and guineas that should be close, not sure the exact start date I took them from their mom, put dwarf call ducks in on Saturday
