Can't do anything but chickens right now, but I totally understand where you're coming from. Something is heartily against me and my backyard flock betterment right now. Seems like EVERYTHING is a disaster.

I've done turkeys twice, had one hatch each time and the last one died after hatching...the turkey tutors did fine!
I don't think my neighbors would appreciate it if I got guineas! LOL!

My daughter actually trained our Guineas. They don't make noise after 10 PM. When the weather started getting nice and she opened her windows they would keep her up half the night. She would go out and lock them up in a very small coop. It only took about 3 nights for them to learn!

On the other hand one of my neighbors drove past and a Guinea was on top of the A Frame. She said to her husband " Look! There's a vulture on her coop!"

I'll hatch ANYTHING. My stuff is selling faster than I can get it hatched. Have a waiting list for my babies...LOL

Turkeys, Guineas, Ducks don't bother me. I would rather not have any quail. I just sold mine. I have eggs to send out from them.

From my experience though the turkeys get sick easily. And i keep them separate from everything else.
