Jumbo bob white eggs hatch early

I have jumbo bob white quail that were supposed to be taken off the automatic egg turner tomorrow. I went to check the temp and humidity on one was almost out of its shell. Has anyone had this happen. I went ahead and took all the eggs down out of the turner there are quite a few with little homes in them did I do the right thing

Yeah definitely right to take them out the turner. You must have got the days wrong or had the incubator too hot. Good luck to your chicks!
