I just want to know if the Jumbo Brown Coturnix Quail is a bigger version of the Japanese Quail.

Yes, Japanese Quail, jumbo brown, etc, are types of Coturnix japonica. The jumbo varieties have been selectively bred to produce larger birds and/ or eggs.

Myshire.com has some of the best jumbo’s. They are out until mid to late Dec though.
