Jumbo Eggs

I just had to take a moment to share that my large egg layers from Meyers Hatchery are now laying X-Lg to Jumbo size eggs. Eggs now reaching 70-82g. So far no double yolkers. We have a few not eaten yet. I’m totally amazed and now all my girls are laying in the nest box as trained to do. Love my breakfast and sometimes dinner club!

I’mWow sounds amazing! I know when my austrolorp started laying I was amazed at how big the egg was. All of hers have been double yolkers from the very beginning of her laying. So happy for you!

There is a farm shop not to far from my home and they have extra large eggs, before I got my birds I used to get them.
I went in there once, I was joking but kept my face straight, I asked if they wanted any more money because a few of the eggs were double yolkers, she hesitated for a few seconds and said, "No it's OK," I'm sure she was thinking about it though.
