JUMBO EGGS!!!!!

Wow. My first just started laying. So far we have had the largest egg i have seen a chicken.lay and the smallest a day later. Now it seems as if we get large size eggs.

Yeah that looks about like what she lays. ISA Brown I believe is a prolific layer?

That's what mine does too but it hasn't gotten better yet. Hopefully your girl figures it out though!

All our girls are every day layers. I am thinking this is a result of their diet. We feed good food, scratch, and they free range, plus oster shells. As long as they aren't broiler birds they should lay almost every day

I have a Golden sex link that does the same thing. About every 5 days she will lay a double yolked jumbo egg weighing 3.5 oz per egg! I have watched her lay one such egg and she seems to do it rather easily. She has only been laying about 2 months.
