Jumbo quail eggs don't fit in quail rack for turner.

My jumbo brown coturnix eggs don't see to fit in the quail egg racks. I have already had two fall out and get cracked when the turner rotates. Has anyone else had this problem?

It's really common. When I run eggs that size I only run 40 at a time in each turner. If you take out the second and fourth rail of the egg trays then you can fit 40 of the larger jumbo coturnix eggs on each turner. You can only put ten eggs in each tray if they are really large and you have to put them on one side of the tray because they are often too wide to allow eggs to be put next to them.

If they are super huge you can usually get away with leaving the trays in and keeping all the large eggs in the two outside most rows (on rails 1 and 6)

Thanks for the advice! I got a little carried away and set 20 eggs per rail and now I am having to move them around. Now I know, thank you.
