Jumbo Rock Cornish?

That makes no sense what so ever, leghorns are used for eggs and the roosters are scrawny little things that are really good for nothing.I suggest looking up buckeyes and dorkings,if you can get really good stock and cross them then you will get a decent bird.

I am Lost on the leghorn as most leghorns I have see have a slender carcass. A true heritage RiR wouldnt be bad If by RR you mean RiR.
I use Dark Cornish Over buckeyes in my project.

When you say dark cornish over Buckeyes does that mean the Buckeye is the hen or Roo and does it matter which one is which?

90% of hatchery stock lehhorns are very small carcassed birds and even heritage WLH are small compaired to most breeds if by RR you mean RiR then that wouldnt be to bad.

The original cross is said to have been a white laced Cornish over a Plymouth White Rock.

Another video you might find interesting actually documents the early Cornish X; a cross of red Cornish roos over New Hampshire hens, developed by the Vantress brothers, and winning the first "Chicken of Tomorrow" contest in 1948.
