Well, for the past two years all I have heard from my three kids is that "we want chickens", so this year we jumped in with both feet. The coop and run are all but finished and "The Chicken Bucket" as the kids call the brooder was set up and ready to go. We are lucky in central KY that there are many people incubating and selling chicks on local farms around us, so we have been on an Easter chick hunt over the past few days. We ended up with a mixed flock of just a little bit of everything, all doing well so far
