I know y’all are probably getting sick of chick threads, but I’m here to join the party. I’ve been wanting Leghorns for an eternity and finally got some! It’s been a few years since I’ve had any chicks around, so this is very exciting. I guess I will update this thread as they get bigger? Also, I am in need of name suggestions.

Don’t be sorry! Chicks are soo cute and wonderful.

Not to mention those are so ADORABLE! Congrats, by the way.:clap

I‘m thinking Jelly or Bean could be cute! Maybe even after a flower like Lily, Peony, Tulip, or Lilac. :) (Anise would be cute, too.)

Thanks!

Those are great ideas, I’ll keep them all in mind (I might make a poll later, once others reply).

Glad you like them. Please keep us updated on what you decide to name them! I’m sure it will be adorable. :) (No worries if you don’t choose any of the names i listed above, i know the right name has to “click” with the animal and personality. It’s different for everybody, of course!)

Chick update! These little guys are so fiesty, it is really hard to get pictures. I put a bowl of greens and dirt in the brooder for them to scratch at, since they acted like they wanted to forage. They love the greens! It is amusing to watch them chase each other around the brooder, like “capture the flag” with greens. I had to put a cover on the brooder to keep them from flying out, but as soon as I take it off, they go everywhere!
