Hello Everyone.
My husband David and I started raising hens when COVID started and the scare of no eggs was big. Plus it had been something we had wanted to do for a while. We converted a yard shed and a dog kennel into our coop for 14 Welsummers and RI Reds. We enjoyed watching them grow, and run all around. Now into our 3rd year we decided to create JuneAnn Eggs named for our mothers who recently passed. We have 45 chickens and have medium to jumbo size with variety of colors. Our ladies are spoiled and my husband is their main keeper. He is retired and I am an ER Nurse so we sell to coworkers and by word of mouth and provide to neighboring family.

We are not looking to Enterprise or go beyond 60 chickens but we enjoy having them and the eggs they provide are amazing. We live in South Louisiana and look forward to sharing information and learning for this community.
