I bought some broilers from Welp and some buttercups along with buff orpington pullets and to fill the order out I placed an order for 5 red jungle fowl. WHat arived was 1 extra buffo pullet and 6...6 extra jungle fowl chicks. So out of 11 jungle fowl I know I'm going to get more roosters than I need. I'm curious if anyone has butchered red JF and what can I expect as far as amount of meat and so forth. I'm not expecting them to get very big since they arrived and the chicks look like banty sized.
