Hello! Is Ivy actually Ivan? We were hopefully because the colours are a little bland for a cockerel, no?! But comb and wattles are red, though much smaller than his hatch mates'... Are those saddle feathers though?

This will not work as chickens are no alligators.I heard that incubating the eggs at .5 degrees lower will produce more girls... I'm not 100% on that one though.
Sorry, I just meant that the colouring is "boring" for a boyYeah...heard that works for gators but not chickens. I think if that did work it would be that it kills the male embryo. Not exactly my idea of a good hatch.

Cockerels can be 'more fun' than hens sometimes.
. We have many STUNNING roosters, they can be very hard to part with!! (We're definitely keeping a handful, but won't be able to keep them all - not enough ladies to keep everyone happy!)
