See this pic? I am now 59 years old and this is the first "me with chickens" pic I have. My brother on the left, me on the right. ;-)
I have owned chickens only a couple of times in my life, but I always enjoyed raising them (along with pigeons and ducks, when I had the opportunity).
I do not currently live in a place where chickens are allowed (shamefully, on the part of the HOA). However, I do look forward to being able to keep them again at some point. I'm currently in Pearland, TX, just south of Houston.
At the moment, I'm looking to obtain a couple of chickens for a friend of mine. I'd like to give him the gift of one or two Blue Laced Red Wyandottes and I'm wondering about anyone near the Houston area who might raise them. I'll likely have to post that in another thread. In any case, that's my brief intro.
