Just a few questions

1. I have 12 chicks well there not chicks anymore they have all of there feathers and can fly. I was wondering if it is safe to put them in the coop for good. I been bringing them in at night and they ate huge. It is about 50 at night will they be ok?

2. Since they are outside during the day should i put something in there water to help with bugs or to keep them healthy?

3. I think I have 3 roosters and they are beginning to stand off to each other and jump and kick. should I seperate them.

4 I have a few pullets that are bigger than the others should i put them a lay box in there or when do they start laying eggs

One more question all of there poo is like diarrhea looking is that bad?

How old are they? IF they have all of their feathers, they should be living in their coop. ALL of their poo, or some of their poo? What is the temp where you are keeping them? If they are too warm, they might be drinking more in an effort to cool down, and that could make their poo more watery. Are they acting fine? Running around and flying around? What are you feeding them?

You might consider switching them to fermented feed. If they have any digestive issues, the fermented feed can help with that.

I have had them about a month and 2 weeks. It looks like most of there poo. There is a few solid pieces. I was keeping them at like 80. Yes they are running around jumping around. Ok I will look into that next time I go to the store. Is there any brand you recommend? Here is what I am feeding them. I do put grit in the food just a sprinkle should i not do that?

They are too warm. They are being cooked and that is why they have diarrhea. No. you do not need to put anything in their water. You can't buy fermented feed. You have to make it yourself. There is an article written by TikkiJane in my signature line. It will tell you everything you need to know about the why and how of fermented feed.

The only reason I still had the light on is because they are sitting right by a air vent in my house. And it was really cold Since they are outside now they won't be under it. Ok thanks.
